Canadian Kevin V. Huhn, an expert and worldwide advisor on minor hockey, with 25 years’ experience, is recognized as an authority in many areas of the sport: motivation, recruiting, skill development, strategic planning, effective communication, best practice management, and organizational turnaround. He is also a businessman, author, and philanthropist.

In 2002, Huhn, known as “the king of hockey media”, founded The Hockey Source, an multi-technology media venture. This organization provides valuable information about the game to people around the world, with the goal of helping them make sound decisions and have more fun.

What began as a personal commitment - to helping individuals become the best they can be at hockey - has grown into a worldwide enterprise. Huhn’s expertise, developed mainly during his participation as coach (among Canada’s top 5%), scout, manager, and player, is called upon by people in each of the game’s roles: players, coaches, parents, managers, trainers, officials, scouts, and administrators. Through his acclaimed book, Hockey-ology - The Ultimate Guide to Fun & Success for Minor Hockey; and his mentorship, media appearances, and motivational speaking, Huhn has reached nearly one million people, from 40 countries.

Huhn was Rogers Television’s “Hockey Expert”, and host of the TV show, The Hockey Source, which aired across Canada and in the U.S.A. He’s the founder of Fire ’n Idea, a federally chartered company, with headquarters in the Greater Toronto Area.
